Tour to Brussels 26th & 27th June 2010
Our first foreign trip was a huge success, with excellent support from our travelling band of friends & relatives. Wonderful singing & plenty of time to enjoy socialising in restaurants & beer houses including Morte Subite, with an amazing barman that could have walked straight out of a Breugel painting.
Both the Finnistaerakerk & the Cathedral made us most welcome, and to be warmly applauded by the congregation as we processed out of the Cathedral was truly moving.
We all thank Andrew for drawing out some memorable performances, the Byrd Ave Verum in particular. Thanks also to Helen & Anne for arranging the Hotel & Eurostar.
A most memorable tour, hopefully the first of many.
